The environmental and energy transition is a priority for us. The Orange Group's goals are clear: reduce our CO2 emissions and strengthen the circular economy. With our technologies and resources, we are moving step by step towards a more sustainable world.
We are also making all our stakeholders aware of these issues.
Our actions with and for you
The Rɘ program is our way of supporting you in taking back, reconditioning, recycling and repairing your phones.
Orange Luxembourg has set up a telecommunications tower producing electricity from a wind turbine and solar panels in the municipality of Tandel. At the same time, we are aiming for 100% green energy by 2022, for our headquarters and our shops.
Orange Luxembourg is committed locally by taking part in Luxembourg's environmental projects. The latest one is the Grouss Botz: a big waste collection in partnership with the association Serve the City. The Orange Luxembourg team contributed to the collection of 10kg of cigarette butts and 250kg of other waste.
Our internal actions
A gradual renewal of the vehicle fleet is planned to reach 70% of electric and hybrid vehicles by 2025. We also plan to reduce the number of vehicles by 10%.
We are adopting a proactive policy of internal training and awareness. By December 2022, we aim to have 100% of our employees trained in sustainable development issues.
