Apple Keynote unveiled new Apple product last wednesday. Among them, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro with nice changes announced. Here is a comparison of these new smartphones.

iPhone 14: what's new?
The major announcement about iPhone 14 and its different versions, is the satellite network compatibility. It allows you to contact emergencies via satellite if you find yourself in danger in an area without 4G. You can also locate yourself accurately with the "Locate" app, even without any network. Unfortunately, this feature will only be available in the USA and Canada at first.
Capture the moment
The improvement of the camera's night mode is worth mentioning. It is announced twice more accurate than the previous version, including a new algorithm called "Photogenic Engine". It improves the quality of photos taken in low light. As for selfies, the automatic focus will help you to take perfect portraits on the first try.
Welcome to eSIM
iPhone 14 and 14 Pro mark a change of course from traditional SIM cards. They are eSIM-enabled. Apple has already taken a leap forward in the USA as the US models will only be available in eSIM version. Don't worry, in Europe iPhone 14 are dual SIM with a slot dedicated to a physical card, and the possibility to combine it with an eSIM. Will iPhone 15 only be available with eSIM? Only time will tell.

iPhone 14 Pro: what's new?
iPhone 14 Pro introduces a major change, a revolution in phone design that has tended not to evolve for several years. The notch seen on many phones and which had been introduced by Apple 5 years ago is replaced by the "Dynamic Island".It is a long pill that adapts to the various notifications pushing on the screen. It both hides the front camerad and shows notifications such as the timer, the music currently playing for instance.
The most powerful smartphone processor
On the processor side, there is also a change with the new A16 Bionic chip, which improves both the power and screen and photo performances.
Locked, but still active
The "Always on" mode is here. This feature which was already available on Apple Watches displays main information in very low light when the phone is locked. Keep an eye on your notifications or favorite pictures without draining your battery.
Lights, camera, action!
The 48MP sensor of iPhone 14 Pro impresses with its 65% larger size comparred to iPhone 13 Pro. This boosts night-time pictures and videos performances.
