On Saturday, 26 April 2025, the final of the Orange eLeague Season 5 took place at Shopping Center Cloche d’Or. This eSport event, organised by Orange and the Luxembourg Football Federation, is the official national competition for the EA Sports FC 25 game. Ivanilsonlpvm, player for Atert Bissen, secured the title for the 4th time and will have the honour of representing Luxembourg on the international stage.

Bertrange, 28 April 2025 – The Luxembourg Football Federation and Orange organised the grand final of the Orange eLeague Season 5 this Saturday, 26 April at Shopping Center Cloche d'Or. 16 players from 16 Luxembourg clubs competed over several weeks to claim the championship title. After intense elimination phases, 8 finalists rose to the top and faced each other this Saturday: RafaMonteiro09, ivanilsonlpvm, ShadowW, LouisLux8, minivildand, xfabinhoo_, SaRo_09X, and danieq.

A thrilling final

The final, broadcast live on Twitch, kept viewers on the edge of their seats. After intense matches, ivanilsonlpvm managed to overcome formidable opponents to win the title of national champion of the Orange eLeague Season 5.

Off to Manchester for ivanilsonlpvm! A season marked by excellence

This victory qualifies ivanilsonlpvm for the group stages of the eChampions League, which will be held from 16–18 May. He will have the opportunity to compete against the best players in the world and represent Luxembourg.

"The competition level was even higher than in previous years, and we felt great enthusiasm from the public. Together with the FLF, our goal is to nurture Luxembourg talent and give them the tools to participate in major international competitions. We are not stopping here. The 8 finalists will soon benefit from a certified training programme by LUNEX, a Higher Education Institution specialised in Health and Sport, at our Orange Digital Center in Bertrange."

A promising future for Luxembourg eSport

 "The Orange eLeague plays a key role in promoting eSport in Luxembourg," says Gilles Faber, eSport Manager at the Luxembourg Football Federation. "With two divisions, we aim to strengthen the recognition of eSport as a full-fledged sports discipline. Year after year, Luxembourg eSport is gaining visibility on the international stage."

Valuable support from national football team players

 Alessio Curci, player for the Rout Léiwen, attended the final to encourage participants and share his experience, adding an inspiring dimension to the event. He also took part in the prize-giving ceremony, presenting the coveted title to the winner.

A positive outcome for the Orange eLeague

 Season 5 was a great success, with a record number of participants in the qualification phase and growing public interest on Twitch and during the final at Shopping Center Cloche d'Or. With more than 200 matches played, the competition highlighted Luxembourg talent and strengthened the local eSport scene.
