Social responsibility
Orange is the trusted player that gives everyone the keys to a responsible digital world. Our CSR policy is based on the following pillars:

Our Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the UN defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have identified the ones for which we have the greatest impact. They are part of the Orange Group's Lead the Future strategy and make our actions easier to understand.
This goal is central to our business. It covers various aspects of our activity: network coverage, R&D and innovation, continuity of service and local presence.
👉 Concretely, our commitment is reflected in our desire to offer eco-designed products. The Livebox, for example is made from 100% recycled materials and saves energy thanks to its active/standby mode, which can be controlled remotely via a dedicated app.
The struggle against inequality and for digital accessibility is one of the pillars of our commitment. We promote digital inclusion, equal opportunities, gender equality and diversity in the workplace.
👉 Our commitment to diversity is reflected - among other things - by the organisation of awareness-raising workshops for employees throughout the year and our partnership with the Kräizbierg Foundation, which designs the bags sold to our customers. In 2023, we launched the 'Coup de Pouce' solidarity offer, aimed at recipients of the cost-of-living allowance and refugees.
Because the environment is everyone's business, we are implementing energy efficiency programmes and integrating the circular economy into our activities.
👉 For example, 100% of Orange-controlled sites are powered by renewable energy. Our RE programme promotes the repair, take-back, refurbishment and recycling of mobile phones. We also have two refurbished iPhones in our catalogue and over 9,000 phones have already been collected for a second life.
We respect human rights and fundamental freedoms, and focus on privacy by strengthening partnerships to contribute to a responsible digital world.
👉 In 2023, we created "safe zones" on the Fortnite platform for victims of cyberbullying.
👉 Thanks to our partnership with the FLF, we raised awareness of cyberbullying among around 100 young people during a special training session in July 2023.
