« The Elevator »: Start-ups pitch in Luxembourg City's iconic lift with Silicon and Orange Luxembourg

With the concept "The Elevator" developed by Silicon Luxembourg, supported by Orange Luxembourg and broadcasted on RTL, 10 start-ups will pitch in an original way during the next weeks. They will have 30 seconds, in other words the time it takes to get aboard the Pfaffenthal lift in Luxembourg City, to promote their concept and convince people of their project.
This is a well-known exercise in the start-up world: the "elevator pitch". It consists, for the young creator, to introduce his project in a short period of time, the time he would have if he had to convince a partner or a potential investor during a trip in a lift. If the exercise is most often imaginary, Silicon Luxembourg, a media dedicated to start-ups, and Orange Luxembourg have decided to make it real through the concept of "The Elevator".
Pitching while riding the lift
The principle of "The Elevator" is simple: for 30 seconds - the time it takes to ride the Pfaffenthal lift in Luxembourg City - a start-up takes up the challenge of pitching its project on video.

The first season of "The Elevator" will consist of ten episodes that will be broadcast throughout the summer on RTL Play, then relayed on the website and social networks of Silicon Luxembourg and Orange Luxembourg.
The start-ups that have been selected to participate in this project are operating in various fields - technology, circular economy, early childhood, beauty, health, finance, etc.
