The Luxembourgish operator supports Kräizbierg Foundation, whose mission is to promote and strengthen the social and professional integration of people with disabilities, notably by offering them workshop jobs.

Bertrange, October 17, 2022 - Orange Luxembourg is very pleased to reaffirm its support to Kräizbierg Foundation, a Luxembourg-based organisation that works to improve the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.

Among its activities, through its cooperative company "Ateliers Kräizbierg", the Foundation offers jobs to many of them. It enables them to have a professional life as close as possible to a job in the private sector. These workshops explore a variety of topics, from embroidery to accounting, multimedia, pottery, screen printing and gardening.

A regular partnership

"Orange Luxembourg has already called on Kräizbierg Foundation in the past. This summer, we commissioned the production of 10.000 reusable bags with the Oekotex label, personalised and screen-printed to promote the RE program for the return, reconditioning and recycling of mobile phones. These bags are currently being distributed in shops to our customers", explains Barbara FANGILLE, Head of Communication at Orange Luxembourg.

The partnership is continuing in October. The operator decided to call on Ateliers Kräizbierg to produce personalised handicrafts that will be distributed to Orange employees during an internal event.

Promoting diversity and inclusion

A day of exchange will take place on October 18th with Orange employees. On this occasion, volunteers from Orange Luxembourg will visit Kraïzbierg Foundation to discover the structure and meet its employees through fun and creative workshops. "Through this initiative, we are pursuing the commitment shared by the Orange Group in terms of inclusion. We want to strengthen professional equality between women and men, the balance between professional and personal life, and the fight against discrimination and violence," continues Barbara Fangille. This also implies the inclusion of people with disabilities, which we have been working on for many years, from recruitment to job retention. This initiative, with Kräizbierg Foundation, should help us to make the integration of these people easier, while respecting their aspirations.
