Orange is strengthening its ecosystem with the roll-out of Livebox and its Wi-Fi Booster repeater on the Luxembourg market.
This new mdoem provides advanced features such as end-to-end Wi-Fi 6 and management and monitoring of the home network with remote control of connected devices. It is the most advanced and durable gateway for the consumer and professional markets.
In addition to this new modem, the company has revamped its fiber offerings to provide a single, comprehensive and accessible offer that meets all current needs at a competitive price. Orange's aim is to make life easier for users.
Bertrange, 30 August 2023 - For several years now, Orange Luxembourg has been offering its customers high-speed Internet access, helping to make the Grand Duchy one of the best-connected countries in Europe. This autumn, the operator intends to strengthen its connectivity ecosystem with the launch of Livebox, a multi-gigabit gateway offering users new advanced features.
New Livebox, advanced features and cutting-edge technology
"Our aim is to provide the best experience for customers connected to Orange Fiber," explains Mustapha Rahem, Head of B2C sales at Orange Luxembourg. Developed in collaboration with Orange Belgium and the Orange Group, which already connects more than 64.9 million homes to fiber worldwide, this Livebox combines an advanced Wi-Fi 6 that optimizes Wi-Fi performance to connect all devices in the home. It also makes it easier to manage your home connection. For example, you can control your home network remotely using the My Livebox Fiber Luxembourg app. From your smartphone, you can switch your box on or off wherever you are, to minimise your consumption, change your password, create a Wi-Fi connection for guests, check your connected equipment and disconnect it remotely".
A sustainable connectivity solution
Both Livebox and its Wi-fi Booster are made from recycled materials. These sustainable products confirm Orange Luxembourg's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. The telecoms operator has set itself the target of reducing net carbon emissions to zero by 2040.
A single offer for access to a complete ecosystem
"Today, this modem is deployed with the new Livebox Fibre offer. We want our customers to benefit from a simple fiber offer with a high-performance network," explains Claire Ledoux, Marketing Director at Orange Luxembourg. "Our customers have told us that they are often at a loss when it comes to technical considerations when faced with so many different offers. So we've come up with a single, flexible offer that guarantees speeds for everyday use, with an unlimited download volume".
