One of the main new features of the iPhone 18 Pro is its main camera.
Apple has integrated a 48 MP sensor with a 6-blade mechanical variable aperture.

a 6-core CPU, including 2 “super-cores” announced as being 20% faster;
a 7-core GPU with up to 40% more performance;
two Neural Engines with a total of 32 cores;
50% higher memory bandwidth.
These figures are based on performance figures announced by Apple and will need to be confirmed through real-world testing.
Better heat management
To support these performance improvements, Apple has also upgraded the cooling system.
The vapor chamber is announced as being three times larger than on the previous generation.
The goal is simple: dissipate heat more effectively and maintain performance for longer, particularly during intensive use.
A smaller Dynamic Island
The Dynamic Island has also evolved on the new Pro models.
It is smaller thanks to part of the Face ID sensor system being integrated under the display.
Another change: the Dynamic Island can now display up to three Live Activities simultaneously, compared with two previously.
A discreet evolution, but a useful one when you want to keep track of several pieces of information at the same time.
