How do I verify my identity when making an online purchase?
New customers
Identity verification is a mandatory step for all online subscriptions from new customers. This step allows us to confirm that your identity as the holder of the new subscription.
The information extracted from your official document is then used to create your Orange customer account, in order to simplify and speed up your subscription. This check helps us to secure your transaction and prevent fraud. In some cases, we may ask you to provide additional documents after you place your order (ID, proof of address, etc.).
When you order, you’ll have two options for completing the verification process:
1. Log in via LuxTrust
Quick and secure if you already have this digital ID.
Please note that this option is only available if you’re ordering from: Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany, Austra, Italy, Nerthelands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingom.
2. Verify your ID
If you don’t have LuxTrust, you can simply take a photo of your ID with your smartphone or computer camera.
Please note that this option is only available if you’re ordering from: Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany.
Existing customers
If you are already an Orange Luxembourg customer, you will simply be asked to log in during the subscription process. To do so, enter your username and password, then provide the one-time code registered on your account.
