The Livebox configuration interface

The Livebox configuration interface is like the ID card of your Livebox. You will find all the information about it as well as all the settings.
You can control this interface and modify it according to your needs:
Installing the Livebox without the installation CD: in order to do this, you must enter your log-in username and password.
Creating connection rules for using a server or video game.
Modifying Wi-Fi settings, etc.

Pre-requisites

1. Check that your Livebox is switched on.
2. Your computer must be switched on and connected to your Livebox (via Ethernet or Wi-Fi).

Accessing the configuration interface

1) Open your web browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari) then type livebox in the address bar

Press the Return key (or equivalent) on yur keyboard.

Do not confuse the address bar of your browser, which is located at the top of the web page, with the search field on a search engine ( Google, Bing, etc.).

2) The Livebox2 configuration interface homepage is displayed. To modify the settings of your Livebox, click on the configuration tab.

3) A new window is displayed. Enter your username and your passwod then click on the Save button.
username: admin.
password: admin by default (if you have not modified it).

If you have change and forgotten your password, you must reset your Livebox in order to return to the default password admin. It is not possible to modify the username for accessing the configuration interface.

4) The configuration screen is displayed. You can browse through the menu on the left to modify the various settings of your Livebox 2 depending on your usage.
